A young African boy suffering from slavery, famine, poverty, and state violence dreams of a green paradise.
REVIEW
One might say that this animation is a cliché representation of Africa, especially from the third person's point of view. However, we can appreciate this film tremendously when considering its message of universal charity and peace. It is the story of a young African boy who is suffering from slavery, famine, poverty, state violence, and illness, along with victimization suffered from the effects of capitalism and the global climate change. He is "always dreaming of this," the green and beautiful paradise Africa might become or once might have been if the land is not damaged beyond repair. He calls this land "A-Free-Ca."
