SYRFILMFEST is pleased to announce its lineup of films for 2009. Out of a pool of more than 480 open submissions and hundreds from international partners, only a select few films have been accepted to this year's festival. The festival will run from April 24 until May 3.
The challenge of winnowing this year's list of films down was as daunting as ever. The pre-screening Committee was faced with a large number of submissions and the quality was as high as ever. After hours of screenings, and weeks of deliberation, Shapiro and the pre-screening committee finalized this list this week.
The 2009 festival program consists of a diverse, well-rounded selection of films and this year's selection of films is sure to feature something for every film-lover to enjoy.
